Our Story

Growing up mostly in the country in Australia, I was surrounded by the charm of country towns and the warmth of family gatherings. My fondest memories are of my mum, a passionate baker, who filled our home with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods. Every weekend, she would whip up delightful cakes and cookies, transforming our dining room into a whimsical tea party for my beloved teddy bears. My dad, with his cheeky sense of humour, would always be there to devour her creations, his laughter ringing through the house as we shared those special moments.

Nine years ago, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my mum, and this year marks 15 years since my dad passed. Their absence left a void that was deeply felt, yet their teachings continued to resonate with me. My mum instilled in me a love for baking, and I found solace in the kitchen, crafting cakes and cookies in her honour. They used to call me “Cookie” and “Poppett,” and that’s where the name for my business, Hello Cookie Co, comes from.

As I honed my skills, I discovered a new passion: custom cookies. I wanted to create something special that could bring people together, just as my parents had done for us. I envisioned a place where I could combine my love for baking with personalised treats, using my Eddie printer to bring designs to life. Each cookie became a canvas for celebration, whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or simply a way to say, “I care.”

Today, I’m proud to have two gorgeous Rottweiler girls named Cookie and Poppett, a tribute to the loving nicknames my parents gave me. Hello Cookie Co, is more than just a business; it’s a way for me to give back to the community that has supported me through thick and thin. For every Cookie sold, a portion goes back into our community program, helping those in need and spreading kindness in the spirit of my mum and dad’s legacy.

Through Hello Cookie Co, I carry forward their tradition of bringing joy and togetherness, one custom cookie at a time. It’s a beautiful journey, blending memories of the past with the promise of community, and I couldn’t be more grateful to share it with you all.
